Do I need an account?
No. You can start writing for free without an account. Create one when you subscribe to Pro or Teams or use account features.
Where is my writing stored?
Your documents stay on your device or in files you choose to save. Nothing is automatically sent to us and we cannot access your writing.
Does Compose use AI to write for me?
No. Compose does not use AI to write, rewrite or summarise your work. We also do not use your documents to train AI models.
How are Pro and Teams plans billed?
Pro and Teams are billed annually. Before payment, Stripe shows the total in your local currency, including taxes and renewal details.
How do seats work on the Teams plan?
Teams starts at 2 seats and supports up to 250. Each invited member uses one paid seat. You can change the quantity from your account.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Cancel at any time to stop the next renewal. Paid features remain available until the end of the current billing period.
Can I request a refund?
To request a refund, email [email protected] within 30 days of your first purchase and include the account email used for the purchase. Other refunds follow the Terms and your applicable rights.
What happens to my documents if I cancel?
Your existing documents and saved .compose files stay yours. Paid features switch off at the end of the billing period, but nothing already in a document is removed.
